Description
1. Executive Summary
PRC Power LLC is actively marketing a new Babcock & Wilcox 850 MW supercritical coal fired boiler that has been delivered to a US company which does not anticipate a near-term need for new capacity. The unit is unassembled and stored in the US per manufacturerʼs instructions.
Opportunity exists for a buyer to take delivery well ahead of typical manufacturing lead time and at a discount to current boiler prices.
- Main Steam 6,246,000 lb/hr, 3853 psi, 1085ºF
- RH Steam 5,138,000 lb/hr, 778 psi, 1085ºF
- PRB or similar grade coal
- The boiler has been engineered to be a variable temperature & pressure, once through supercritical unit, which can be adapted to a varied range of application.
- PRC Power may be able to locate an idle or unused generator set(s) to pair with the boiler.
